This was my first time making and eating scones. The best
part was tasting them and being able to bring some home to my Nanny. I’ve already made them again for my dad and
brother but I didn’t put any raisins in because my little brother doesn’t like
raisins.

I’ve never made scones or ate them before either. I liked mixing the flour and pressing the
dough together, it felt all spongy and squashy.
We then took turns to cut out a few scones each and put them on a baking
tray. We spilt a bit of flour on the
floor and we had to tidy it up but that was ok because I love sweeping.
